Guessing how players will be used and then guessing their performance is an art form, and even then the best artists can merely wave their brushes at the canvas. Clear pictures are extremely hard to find.
Nonetheless, I do project that this trade does not improve the Braves’ club – and indeed, we could see a “team morale” impact right out of the box in today’s opener while the team absorbs the shock of yesterday’s event (though that has been denied).
Overall, I hope that the team can keep this impact to +1 for the Center Field position and -4 for the bullpen, with a total net of -3 Wins for 2015.
