Frankly, we’ve so far been hearing just as many opinions as those giving those opinions about who’s looking good so far in the race for that 5th starter position in the rotation. We’ve heard waffling on Michael Foltynewicz (rotation or bullpen); we’ve heard that Eric Stults might be a leading candidate for the rotation; now we’re getting this:

A nice problem to have. Big contrast from last year’s medical woes… so far.
The good news, though, is that thus far all pitchers are looking good and are fully healthy. No reports of ailments… well, other than Shae Simmons having had Tommy John surgery already.
