Jonny Venters – The long awaited bullpen help that the Braves fan base has been waiting for. Well, not so fast. He has been throwing on the side but is no where near ready for a return. My Prediction – Not ready

Chasen Shreve – This lefty pitched well for the Braves during his short stint in the MLB. He’s now with the Gwinnett Braves and has been pitching well there. He currently has a 1.59 ERA in 5.2 innings pitched but did pitch on Wednesday night going 1.2 innings, giving up a run and took the loss. It’s been well documented that the Braves need help in the bullpen especially a left handed pitcher.
The Braves brought in James Russell at the trade deadline but he hasn’t faired well getting lefty batters out. My Prediction – Yes bring Shreve Up
Since being acquired by the #Braves, Russell has faced 11 left-handed hitters. He's allowed hits to five of them and walked another.
