Unfortunately, it’s not a Braves Ring, but it’s still an eye-opening contest being conducted by the Dan Francisco Giants for their charity, the Giants Community Fund. According to the contest page, the fund “works to enrich the lives of under-served youth through the Junior Giants program and other community initiatives” (see also jrgiants.org).
The announcement piece reads: “The San Francisco Giants are raffling off one authentic World Series ring, designed and crafted by Tiffany & Co. The ring is made of 14k white gold and is inlaid with 55 round melee diamonds. One side of the massive ring features the Giants’ three latest World Series trophies and the other has the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s a little gaudy.”
Ya think?
Still, if you’d like to participate, each ticket is $10, and the details are available here. Entry deadline is June 21st.
Interesting.
